The making of our branch bottle collection

Our process of creating the branch vessels includes using hot glass of a contrasting color to create expressive lines. We begin with a gather of glass onto the blowpipe and then we trail glass in a different color across the surface. We then use our usual process of hand-shaping the glass to refine the form.
